By Jake Fenner, SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) – It’s time to get ready for one of the highlights of the holiday season in Central New York.
Earlier today, tickets went on sale for Wegman’s 30th annual Lights on the Lake. Every year, the shore of Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool gets lit up with colorful displays to help bring the joy of the holiday season to CNY.
According to the website, the show features towering holiday displays, a twinkling fantasy forest, a “larger than life” Land of Oz, and more. The website also says visitors can purchase personal message banners.
“Folks can now make a memory that will last forever when they wish their loved one a happy birthday, ask their girlfriend (or boyfriend) to marry them, or send another personal greeting when they visit Lights on the Lake,” says the site.
Advance sale tickets are now available at all area Wegmans from now until November 13th. Tickets are $6 per vehicle for shows on Monday-Thursday and $15 per vehicle for shows Friday-Sunday. After that, the prices jump to $10 and $20 respectively.
Lights on the Lake opens on Thursday, November 14, 2019 and runs until Sunday, January 5, 2020. It is open nightly from 5:00pm-10:00pm.
