OUR ADRIANA LOH SPOKE WITH BERT AUFSESSER ABOUT HOW HE CAME UP WITH THE IDEA OF SCHOLAR’S AND CHAMPS AND THE CURRENT STATE OF THE STORE.

“You know, I think I’ve done a really good job, you know I have stuff that is very specific that students like more, and then I have stuff that says Upstate or Central New York that appeals more to locals.”

A SPORTS LEAGUE MEANT TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN POLICE AND SYRACUSE RESIDENTS IS GEARING UP FOR A NEW SEASON.

ORGANIZERS AND PARTICIPANTS OF THE POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE TOLD OUR KRIZIA WILLIAMS ABOUT THE IMPACT IT’S HAD ON THE COMMUNITY.

“So we’re doing our part to try and build our relationship so that when kids come into an encounter with an officer, it’s not always so stressful and kids, people aren’t scared and everything, fear for their lives and stuff, we just like to change the narrative.”
