SYRACUSE, N.Y (NCC News) — A local business owner has gone from being an entrepreneur in New York City to having a thrift shop in Syracuse. Scholars and Champs owner Bert Aufsesser says he’s happy with the current state of his store and thinks the value will keep going up.

The Police Athletic League’s touch football team is getting ready for a new season. The league is designed to keep kids off the streets, and better the relationship between the police and the Syracuse community.

A new airline has arrived in Syracuse, connecting the city to Las Vegas and Charleston. Syracuse Hancock International Airport executive director Jason Terreri says he is very excited to have Breeze Airways serving his clients.
