ARABDHO MAJUMDER (Anchor): Here’s the latest national and international news from N-C-C News. I’m Arabdho Majumder. While New York remains shutdown, in Georgia, governor Brian Kemp is opening gyms, hair salons and bowling alleys on Friday.

BRIAN KEMP: By taking this measured action, we will get Georgians back to work safely.

AM: The mayor of Atlanta doesn’t agree.

KEISHA LANCE BOTTOMS (Atlanta mayor): Continue to stay home, follow the science, and exercise common sense.

AM: Texas oil and gas industry regulators are meeting today to consider cuts to the state’s oil output. Brent Stanley, who buys and sells mineral land rights, has seen his business plummet and warns of the ripple effect from the oil collapse.

BRENT STANLEY: If there s no oil and gas jobs, there s no one spending any money.

AM: The University of Central Oklahoma’s business school dean explains the oil problem in his state.

STEVE AGEE (UCO Business School dean): There’s so much oil sitting in offshore tankers and there s no buyers for it.
