The Syracuse Police Department is holding a meeting focusing on recruitment and hiring. It is part of the city’s push to diversify the police force. Deputy Mayor, Sharon Owens says this is so important.

Kelly: Just to represent themselves, and the team, and Central New York and respect the game and just learn a little bit about themselves along the way, it’s all you can ask.
