Over the weekend a tragic shooting took Place at a Pittsburgh Synagogue. Federal Prosecutors are now seeking the Death Penalty for the gunman. Robert Bowers is responsible for the awful attack, which was the deadliest attack on the Jewish Community in American History. Candle light Vigils continue to be held, including tonight at 6 pm at the Jewish Community Center of Syracuse in Dewitt.

New Polls are out in the hotly contested congressional race. The latest results have incumbent John Katko with a 14 percent lead over Dana Balter with just about a week until election day. This is the same lead Katko had 2 months ago.

Speaking of polls, for the first time since 2001 Syracuse Football is ranked in the top 25, but SU coach Dino Babers is making sure his team does not get complacent.
