Newtown Square, PA (NCC News) – Fitness trainers have lost their jobs and money ever since COVID-19 swept through the United States. How have trainers been able to keep their businesses up and running in this very difficult time period? One trainer has managed to keep her business thriving through the use of Zoom workouts.
Marple Newtown All-Delco Trainer Julie Sebastian has kept her Fitness and Softball business intact by holding weekly Zoom workouts with over 50 clients. These virtual workouts teach her clients the basic mechanics of pitching, hitting, and staying in the best physical shape as possible. Sebastian’s website Julie Sebastian’s Softball & Fitness Instruction, LLC, further illustrates her deep passions for softball and fitness.
On June 26th, Delaware County finally moved into its green phase, allowing many trainers to reopen their gyms. Sebastian was excited to open her gym, but knew that following proper health and safety protocols would be the number one priority.
“I have no more than four people in my facility at a time. I require all of the girls to bring their own equipment and their own softballs as well,” says Sebastian.
According to an article in the Delco Times, Sebastian’s client list continues to grow.
Sebastian loves that more girls are joining her team, but she still makes sure that the virus and following proper health and safety protocols is her number one priority.
