The sound of vacuums and brooms sweeping across the floors fill the hallways of Aspen Heights Student Housing. Aspen Heights employee Anya Gonzalez said the team is working hard to ensure the apartments are in their best shape.

“We walk it once, twice, maybe three times before a resident will move in,” Gonzalez said.

Since fall classes officially start on August 30th, students are moving in now to have time to settle in.
Gonzalez said phones have been ringing off the hook.

“Out of my whole time being here, it is definitely the busiest, and we’ve been working long hours,” she said.

Gonzalez said Aspen Heights employees come in at nine in the morning and may not leave until seven or eight at night. Although work is busy, she said there is still time for any Syracuse student looking for a home to sign a lease.

The apartment complex has an incentive for new residents to sign a lease. One-thousand dollar gift cards are the special offer on the table for the next ten residents that sign up.
